Kawasaki has marketed the Ninja 250R since 1986 as an entry-level sport motorcycle intended for use on paved roads. Bajaj surprised and delighted Indian Bikers a few years back when it brought the Ninja 250R onto the Indian market. And boy am i delighted to bring you this news. Ninja 250 is already a force to reckon with. And now, an already potent and powerful package has under gone some upgrades to make it even more powerful(if that were possible). The upgraded Ninja 250 R which takes cues from its elder 1000 cc sibling, the ZX10R. It was recently made available at Japan. Kawasaki Ninja 2013 upgrade should definitely make it to India soon.
New Features in the 2013 Ninja 250R?

The new design seems to be heavily inspired by its 1,000cc big brother the Ninja ZX10R. The body work is edgy, sharp and with proper twin headlamps the 2013 Ninja 250R looks angrier and more aggressive.
The exhaust is now chunkier and is visually substantial than the slender unit of the current one.
There are additions of new features as well like a digital display console and a pass switch.
But the most important addition on the 2013 Ninja 250R is the option of an ABS unit.
Under the skin the 2013 Ninja 250R gets changes to the engine and the chassis as well. The engine features new crankcases, new pistons and an all-new aluminum die-cast cylinder. The diamond-style frame has been optimized for rigidity and gets rubber engine mounts to significantly reduce engine vibration further.
The suspension seems to have got revised damping settings and softer spring rates both at the front and rear for increased comfort during city riding as well as a firmer feeling when sport riding. The rear tyre has been upgraded one size up now to a 140 section (the current one comes with a 130 section).
The 2013 Ninja 250R also gets large openings and fin design of the fairings that help promote airflow that assists with heat dissipation when moving. When stuck in traffic, the radiator fan cover directs hot engine air down and away from the rider, adding to increased rider comfort.
